This isn't typically the kind of environment that you'd find Alyx in, out on the fringes of the city, but she's on a transport job and hey, being on the road for a while can leave a girl hungry. So you better believe that when a greasy spoon sort of place like this showed up on her GPS she was going to stop. The CONDOR execs could wait a half an hour longer for this load, because right now there is a plate of waffles on their way with Alyx's name on them.
The food still has yet to arrive though, so for the time being she's kind of relaxing at a booth, picking through the local newspaper and glancing outside every few minutes just to make sure that the truck isn't being attacked by lizard men or whatever crazy of the week might be lurking around. Not that she's too concerned; Dog is safely in the back of the truck, on guard in case any trouble crops up.
