Having been on earth for a short while now, Ultra Magnus had taken to driving to some of the smaller towns in the area he had landed in to learn more about the local population as he made his way toward the coordinates he'd been given to rendezvous with the other autobots. After a small incident in another town, he'd realized that the local alt mode he had scanned was not as inconspicuous as he would like, and had started depending more and more on his holomatter avatar for these excursions.
Magnus was currently set up in a booth at one of the local diners, having ordered a coffee with some local money he had come across earlier. He wasn't paying much attention to what was going on around him, and was reading the local newsletter with a bit more interest than one would expect for someone obviously just passing through the town.
